 iQuiz is a great game. People loved it since its release on iTunes for 99 cents! Players of iQuiz are charmed by its beautiful graphics, cute sound effects and comprehensive questions covering a great variety of topics on music, movie, and TV shows. But all these does come at a price.
Aside form hours down the drain while playing the game, the price is also paid in the form of rapid depletion of battery power.
Rapid battery depletion is not a new problem. It is known that video iPods consume power much more quickly when playing videos. According to reviews posted on iTunes website, iQuiz seems to take a LOT more battery than other iPod games, for example, sudoku and tetris. This is probably due to the brighter graphical display of the iQuiz game, as well as the continuous playing of background music and sound effects.
But who cares about battery depletion when you really enjoy a game! Hence you better take your charger with you while you are traveling with iQuiz, or let's hope the arrival of flash-based technology can help to solve the problem of power consumption. |
