Apple announced yesterday that the newest iPhone 3.0 Software will be released this summer. There are more than 100 new features introduced, including the long desired cut and paste. However, some features won't work on the original iPhone, such as the new MMS and stereo Bluetooth features.

1. Copy and paste!
   
2. Landscape keyboard available to key applications like email, notes and SMS.
   
3. Stereo Bluetooth and peer-to-peer connections over Bluetooth (think gaming with a friend like the Nintendo DS)
   
4. Support for multimedia messaging (MMS) and Voice Memos
5. 
   New calendar format support for much greater support with other calendar applications - CalDAV and .ics formats
6. 
   Full search including mail, calendar, notes and iPod
   
7. Notes will now sync with iTunes; Shake to shuffle your music; Push notification for developers
   

 It will be FREE for all iPhone users, and, again a $9.95 upgrade for iPod Touch users :--(.

Moreover, to iPhone developers, there are 1000 new APIs. What I like most is that now one can sell subscription-based digital products within a native iPhone app! This is huge, yes, I know!
